What exactly do you do?
I am an Occult Illusionist which means I perform supernatural themed magic. Imagine a cross between Giles from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Derren Brown, only with red hair and a little nerdier. As I discuss in my TED Talk, I believe magic is more fun with a story or an interesting aesthetic, so instead of simply having someone in a suit perform store-bought magic tricks I offer a unique alternative. I devise all of my own illusions and work with bespoke props, so even if your guests have seen a magician perform before rest assured they won't have experienced anything similar to what I offer. Do you offer different packages?
When you contact me we'll discuss the particulars of your event and together we'll decide on the most suitable type of performance. I can mix and mingle among your guests, performing close-up magic to small groups, or I can perform a 20-45 minute stand-up performance (similar to my theatre shows) for all of your guests at once, or a mix of both.
Is your work suitable for children?
Generally speaking I am not a children's entertainer, my work is tailored for adult audiences, but I do have children of my own and have material suitable to perform for children who happen to be at family events.
